Light Up the Dark is a FREE event for teens packed with inspiration, resources and fun. Utilizing the arts, engaging experts and incredible stories, this powerful evening of connection will help equip teens to pursue life. While students are entertained and encouraged, parents can take advantage of a separate training event led by experts in youth mental health. Come join us!

Parent Resource Training – Education for a Lifetime will be hosting a Parent Resource Training Class durin Light Up the Dark. This training will focus on equipping and empowering parents to have conversations with their students about mentalillness and suicide. Parents will be equipped with resources and practical tools to implement. It will occur at 7:30pm in Room 104 on Friday, May 1st- CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP
Suggested Age Requirement: Due to the sensitive nature of the topic being discussed at this event, we have a suggested age requirement of 13+. Should younger students wish to attend, we welcome them, but please ensure that the content being discussed is appropriate for their maturity level.
Event Cost: This event is FREE, however during the dinner hour (5:30pm-6:30pm) we will have food trucks and snacks available for purchase. We encourage your student to come with money for dinner.
